Hostinger
Great-value, beginner-friendly hosting with a genuinely simple control panel. The best prices need a longer upfront term, so check the renewal rate before you buy.
Namecheap
Straightforward registration with free WHOIS privacy on most domains — just skip the add-ons you don’t need at checkout.
Google Workspace
Professional email on your own domain plus Docs, Drive and Meet. Not the cheapest, but the most familiar and reliable for small teams.
MailerLite
Clean, affordable email marketing with landing pages and automations — ideal for turning a community into an owned list.
Riverside
Studio-quality remote podcast and video recording, with each guest captured locally. Handy editing tools; the free plan is limited.
ChatGPT
A versatile assistant for drafting, brainstorming and summarising — brilliant for first drafts, but always fact-check before publishing.
Grammarly
Catches typos and tightens clunky sentences as you write. Set it to Australian English so it doesn’t “correct” your spelling.
Canva
Fast, template-driven design for social posts, slides and simple graphics. Ideal for non-designers, though heavy template use can look generic.
